To exist in this world is absurd. To live is to question that absurdity.

I Am Very Confused was the amorphous drag persona of Mona, a trans woman and artist living in Berlin. At the time of our meeting, Mona was unsure of her place in this world. She invented the persona I Am Very Confused to question and navigate questions around her Identity. As soon as one begins to question what it is to be, existence’s absurdity becomes apparent. To highlight this absurdity we placed a character as caricaturesque as Very Confused in the banalest setting we could think of: the no space that is the parking lot of Ikea.
